"S" Version Revision - December 2024
This revision of the Plan incorporates all the recommendations from Planning and Zoning Commission that were also supported by Imagine! Girdwood and by votes of Girdwood Land Use Committee and Girdwood Board of Supervisors during Aug/Sept 2024. It was submitted to the Assembly as part of AO 2024-114(S).
Summary of changes from the May 2024 application:
Land Use Map
"Future dedicated parkland" moved from the main Land Use Map and put in a new Appendix (PZC #1)
Vegetative Buffer represented by a dotted line to indicate an approximate location (PZC #2)
Mixed-use in South Townsite area updated to follow parcel boundaries (PZC #3c)
Show "Winner Creek Extension" as pending parkland (PZC #3e)
"Holtan Hills" area polygons updated to match replat (PZC #3f)
Updates to Goals and Implementation Actions
Implementation Action R4.2: update languge about "Vegetative Buffers" (PZC #2)
Goal E3.1: update to describe needing flexibility on road and parking lot surfaces (PZC #5)
Implementation Action T5.1: clarify this is about uses within the airport district (PZC #6)
Other changes
Add a reference to "Tsunami risk in Seward Highway area" to the Mixed-Use description (PZC #4)
Update photo credits, correct typos and grammar, update references (PZC #7)
