Final Version - May 2024

The Final version of the Girdwood Comprehensive Plan was submitted to the Municipality of Anchorage Planning Department on May 6th, 2024.

The application version is the third and final revision, and is substantively the same as the Revised Draft from April 2024, which in turn was an update based on extensive Public Comments received on the Public Review Draft originally published February 2024.

Next Steps:

The Girdwood Comprehensive Plan is in the formal adoption process for the Municipality of Anchorage. It will have a Public Hearing at the Planning and Zoning Commission on July 15th, 2024. The PZC will decide whether to recommend the plan for adoption. Subsequently, the Anchorage Assembly will hold a Public Hearing and make the formal decision on adoption.
